We Are Headed To Musication 5, Here’s Why
Music and Art gives kids an outlet to express themselves while encouraging creativity and unity!
However; our leaders our constantly cutting the funds needed to run programs like these at schools nationwide.
It sucks big time, but there are dope people out there restoring the creativity!
This month I am proud as hell to support and take my kids to the 5th Musication event on Staten Island.
Why I Am Excited!
The great folks at Projectivity and Stereotype Co-host this event every year to bring awareness but to also raise funds to help schools in need. Teachers and schools can apply for the Lark Fund grant brought to you by Projectivity, to help supply, repair musical instruments and provide art supplies to their schools.
How dope is that?
Instead of complaining about it, they are doing something about it and doing it big! If you know of a school or teacher in Staten Island that needs help have them apply here!
Art, Music, and Paying It Forward all under the legendary 50/50 Skate Park roof in Staten Island!!!
Yup the same skate park Lil Wayne invested in, I am all for it and love events like this because I can have fun while also educating my kids.
When: Nov 17th 7pm-11pm
Where: 50/50 Skate Park Staten Island NY
Cost: Free but it’s a fundraiser, $10 can go a long way
Dress Code: None, dress to have fun
Age Limit: All Ages Welcomed
Last year they turned the 50/50 Skate Park into a visual and artistic playground! Besides having music performers and artists showing off their dope work, attendees also battled it out during a video game tournament and more!
Every year is a new theme and this year’s theme is DANCE.
This year promises to be even bigger with over 30 artists presenting their work, tons of musical performances and even local school dancers showing us why music and art matter. We are going to turn up all night!!!
Nothing makes a dad more proud than watching their kids represent, and this dad will definitely be there cheering on all the kids!!
Paying it forward is huge for my family and I can’t wait to take my kids to the 5th Annual Musication! I hope to see some of you there!
Even if you can’t make it to this dope event you can help out by donating to the program here.
Our youth should not suffer because of our politicians, let’s help them push forward! It’s our duties as dads to make sure our kids have more than we ever had, don’t let them miss out on creativity!
